Guidance of transseptal punctures

The transseptal puncture (TSP)  is used to access the left atrium of the heart, which is required for several minimally invasive interventions. Nonetheless, determining the optimal puncturing site is not straightforward.  To overcome these difficulties, during this PhD project we intend to develop an integrated interventional framework to assist the physician TSP.
